GAUL. Massalia. Circa 150-125 BC. Diobol (Silver, 10 mm, 0.91 g, 6 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet; behind, B. Rev. MAΣΣA Eagle standing right with wings spread. Maurel 404 (same dies). LT 1471. SNG Copenhagen 784. Very rare and beautifully toned. Slightly porous, otherwise, good very fine.
